July 30, 1924 – Wednesday

Played quite nearly all morning with our crowd and in the afternoon the same bunch played shuffle board.

The captain made quite a concession this evening thanks to Mrs. Hanson. After the moving picture our crowd was allowed to dance in the garden until 11 o’clock.

As usual, Hope played. American jazz played by a German orchestra is almost undanceable.
